Optional
Buying direct

Factory direct motorized blinds

Buying factory direct changes what a trade buyer can promise, and it also changes what they have to check. The upside is a real one: batch consistency across a repeat order, spare parts held against the original specification, and a lead time quoted from the plant rather than from a distributor's shelf.

What you gain

Fabric woven in-house, tubes extruded and motors assembled on the same site, so a repeat order in eight months still matches the first one.

What to check

Confirm who holds the warranty, how a spare motor is supplied in year five, and whether the size limits published are the plant's real capacity.

How Norvablind works

Trade terms for dealers, installers and specifiers, with a ten-year motor warranty and supply into more than forty export markets.

Own brand

OEM private label window shades

If you sell under your own name, the product has to arrive looking like yours and behave the same way on the second order. OEM private label window shades are built to your label, your packaging and your size range, from the same fabric and drive families as the branded line.

Your label on the headrail and your branding on the carton.

Documentation, part numbers and size tables issued in your name.

Colour ranges and size limits agreed to suit your market, not ours.

First-article samples approved before the production run is released.

On site

Motorized shade measuring and installation guide

Most problems on a shading project are created before the blind is unboxed, and almost all of them are measuring or mounting errors. The notes below are the ones that come up repeatedly on site visits.

Measuring

Measure the opening at three points and take the smallest width and the largest drop. Order the true opening, not the finished size — the mounting deduction is applied in production. Check that the recess is deep enough for an inside mount before committing, and that handles, mullions or a window crank do not foul the fabric path.

Installation

Confirm the substrate before drilling: hollow plasterboard needs the correct fixing, and a heavy wide blind should reach studs or a backing plate. Set the end limits after the shade is on the brackets, not on the bench. Run the shade through a full cycle and check the stacking height against the headrail clearance before you leave the window.

Pair the drive and set limits before handing the room over, and record the pairing for the next visit.

Leave the size table and family reference on site so a replacement matches the original.

Send photographs of any window that does not match the schedule before the order is released.
